Karori Cricket Club (KCC) has a proud history, dating back to the 1880's. Located in Wellington’s largest suburb, our homeground is Karori Park, boasting several playing fields and great facilities. We’re a modern, inclusive club for players of all ages and levels.

We’re committed to providing a safe, supportive environment where players can grow, have fun, and develop a lifelong love of cricket.

2x Arumalla Family Scholarships – Valued at $3,000 Each

Thanks to the generous support of the Arumalla Family and our CEO, Sudhakar Arumalla, Karori Cricket Club is thrilled to launch two new scholarships to support and attract the next generation of cricketing talent to our club.

Who can apply?

• New Zealand secondary school students in their final year (Year 13)

• Must be playing club cricket in early 2026

• Must commit to playing for Karori Cricket Club during the scholarship period

• Open to both female and male players

What’s included?

• Free Karori CC subs until April 2027 (covering 1.5 seasons)

• $1,000 towards tertiary education costs

• $1,000 worth of cricket equipment

• 5 hours of one-on-one coaching with Head Coach Subhash Chaudhary

How will recipients be chosen?

A selection panel will review all applications. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed, and the panel’s decision will be final.
